When it comes to automotive luxury there isn’t much better than a Land Rover Range Rover, it is the trend setter when it comes to luxury SUVs. The Range Rover for years now has been redefining automotive luxury, the top of the range Vogue models really do offer the best luxury features and technology.

In order to stamp its authority in this market segment Land Rover will be unveiling the new Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition, a hand-finished exclusive addition, on show at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. At times like this I think it’s a real shame we no longer have a British Motor Show, it would have been a very proud moment to unveil great British cars like the Range Rover and Jaguar models at a British car show.

Pushing the envelope in luxury interiors – that’s Land Rover’s speciality, the special edition Autobiography model comes with a handcrafted luxury interior, using specially selected soft feel natural leathers, to an interior renowned for being one of the finest in the automotive world.

As well as the driver and front passenger the rear passengers also get to experience the best money can buy with first-class-style accommodation never before seen in a Range Rover or any other SUV for that matter.

The rear passengers benefit from a rear console extension, including a machined aluminium laptop table and drinks chiller, and two Apple iPads as standard; this takes the Range Rover rear seat experience to new levels of luxury. The interior of this model is mouth watering and oozes luxury - the rear load space even gets a touch of class with a super yacht inspired teak floor with metal and leather detailing.

Other touches in the interior include; high-end semi-aniline leather seating and Oxford leather on the door casings, dashboard top and steering wheel. For the first time, Kalahari wood veneers are used on the facia and door top rolls and unique interior colour ways of either dark cherry or Arabica are available.

The Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition is limited to just 500 units, so it will not be as common as Land Rover Discovery in Kent - adding to its exclusivity.
