My best friend is having her first child, so I have decided to throw a baby shower for her as she is having a tough pregnancy and she could do with cheering up. Our friendship goes back a long way and throughout the years I have watched her go through some very tough times.

She lost her dad three years ago, she was heartbroken for weeks and there was no consoling her. She was very close to her dad and after he passed away, she started to get close to her mum but then last year she lost her mum too.

I have never seen her cry so much in all the years that I have known her, in the end it was all too much for her and locked herself in her bedroom. I spent every minute of my day with her to make sure she knows that no matter what happens I will be there for her till the end.

The baby shower is next week, so I have enough time to buy her gift for her and I know exactly what I’m buying her.

I decided to buy a Fiat Bravo and I know she will get annoyed with me for spending so much money on her but she deserves to be treated after all she has been through. I hope she likes the car and so does her husband
