It’smy cousins wedding next week and as the maid of honour it was my responsibility to organise the hen party and I’m feeling really excited that the day is here as I spent weeks planning and organising everything. It will be really nice to finally see all my hard work being enjoyed by everyone I care about, especially the bride to be.
I handmade the invitation cards because I wanted to make it personal to her, and I know she will love it as she likes to make my birthday card every year. I done the accessory shopping last week and I can’t wait to see how all the girls and the bride to be will look like with it all on.
I hired a hummer limo to pick us up at 8pm and take us to the restaurant where I booked our table and then take us to the night club to end our party. Everything is set, just as I’m getting excited I get a phone call from the limo hire company to say there is a "slight problem".
Did he just say ‘slight problem’, how can he possibly say slight problem when he’s telling me that I won’t have the limo for tonight. This can’t be happening, I spent weeks planning this day and now he’s ruining it for me.
There is noting he can do, the receptionist doubled booked the limo and they have to give it to the people that booked it first. I wasn’t giving up that easily, as it’s not my mistake but theirs, they have to make up for it somehow. So the manager made an offer I couldn’t refuse.
I was told to hire anything I want and the company will pay the hire money. So to make the most of the company’s money I hired 3 cars for us. For the bride to be, I got the
new Citroen C1 because that is her favourite car.
